Board of Trustees (elected by the Congregation)
The purpose of the Trustees is to hold in trust all of the property of Eagle Ridge United Church for the use and benefit of the congregation as part of the United Church.
The Board of Trustees shall discharge such duties and exercise such powers as are set out in the Model Trust Deed (see Appendix II, The Manual). The Board of Trustees shall obey all lawful orders and directions respectively of the Official Board of the Congregation, the Presbytery, or the Conference.
Trustees are elected for terms of 1 year. The majority of the members of the Board of Trustees must be full members of The United Church of Canada. It is recommended that all Trustees be full members.
Trustees are individuals some of with the following gifts: Knowledge, Wisdom and Organization.
